Pinned topic IBM.Data.DB2.Core connection problems

‏2019-01-06T23:07:09Z | .net core

I keep getting a error when connecting to DB2. But only on the deployed app. Everything work perfectly when running the app from Visual Studio 2017. in either debug or release builds.

I spent all this time adding support for DB2/LUW databases to my ORM, but now I can deploy it.

I'm using libs from nuget for version 1.3.0.100 on windows 10

I'm also using the free community version of the server, a recent download install on win server 2012 r2.

Any idea whats going on? This obviously inside IBM code...

    Hi,

inside your deployment folder, do you see a folder named clidriver with some binaries inside?

    Thanks and regards

    no, that is the problem.

Why does it take so long to get support?

And why is the error message so bad?

And do I really need to include this whole folder? it's a huge 68 MB?
