Welcome to the TPF blog. For those that do not know, TPF stands for Transaction Processing Facility and is IBM’s high-performance operating system specifically designed to provide high availability for demanding high volume, real-time transaction processing for mission critical e-business applications. z/TPF runs on and exploits IBM’s System z servers, an infrastructure offering for transaction processing with high quality of service demands.
We are creating this blog in order to better communicate and share information with our customers. We envision using this blog for all sorts of important TPF information such as information on new features, TPFUG information, important TPF articles, and questions and answers. If there is anything that you would like to see us address, please contact one of the authors.
