I have spoken about the topic of social business at the last couple of TPF User Group meetings and the TPF Development Lab overall has been doing more and more communication this way. We have been releasing much more of our information and education through this medium. As such, I wanted to publicize some information on our TPF Social Business to help our clients find us.
IBM developerWorks: TPF Blog
The TPF Blog on the IBM developerWorks site is our main method of communicating what is going on in the TPF world from a development lab perspective. This site brings together the technical experts from the TPF Development Lab to share our knowledge and information the TPF family of products (z/TPF, z/TPFDF, TOS and TPF Toolkit). Here you will find information on newly released functionality, articles about existing functionality, information on our webinars and other education, information regarding conferences and TPF service bulletins.
Twitter is where you can go to follow the TPF Development Lab happenings, as they occur in real-time. We tweet out updates when we have new information posted to alert people about and when we find interesting articles that we think others may enjoy.
Facebook: TPF'ers Group
LinkedIn: TPF, z/TPF, and ALCS Professionals Group
Both of the groups on these sites are unofficial TPF groups, meaning that they are not IBM created groups. They do however bring together people from the broader TPF community for discussions. Great to connect with old friends and colleagues or to ask questions of the TPF community.
YouTube: IBM TPF Videos
This is where you can find all of our TPF videos. This includes various forms of education material and webinars.
Paper.li: The TPF Times
Paper.li is a virtual digest that aggregates news and information about a topic from various different sources and lays it out in a newspaper format. The TPF Times is a collection of information about TPF pulled together from our different sources and published weekly. It's a good one stop shop for your TPF information.
Please consider visiting us on your social network of choice in order to keep up with the TPF community and what is going on with the TPF Development Lab. If there is any additional information that you would like to see us provide, please don't hesitate to contact us.
