APAR PJ34869 provided a Linux tool called fctbval which customers can use to compare FACE tables (FCTBs). The tool provides a difference report which shows the differences between FCTBs as well as a validation option which shows warnings or errors that might occur if the FCTB is loaded to TPF by using the alternate FCTB loader (ZFCTB) or loaded as part of an online database reorganization (ODBR) by using ZODBR LOAD. With the release of APAR PJ41468, the fctbval tool has been enhanced to provide a move report which shows the records that are being moved between the two input FCTBs. This move report will match the list of records being moved when the FCTB is loaded as part of the ODBR.
