When an SSL daemon program or a standard library is included in an E-type loader loadset and the loadset is activated, the SSL daemon must be recycled to pick up the new version of the SSL daemon program or the standard library. Prior to APAR PJ41398, when the loadset was accepted the SSL daemon had to be recycled again even though the version of the SSL program or the standard library had not changed.
Because accepting the loadset does not introduce a new version of the SSL daemon program or the standard library and recycling the SSL daemon might be disruptive, APAR PJ41398 eliminates the requirement to recycle the SSL daemon after accepting the loadset.
