Wow, I can't believe it has been 10 years, since the birth of developerWorks. We have seen a lot of changes in technology since then. All the social software, building a greener/smarter planet, improved internet security and the list goes on. It is great to see IBM and developerWorks participate in all the new cutting edge technologies. I love My developerWorks, it has helped me build new technical contacts to get my job done. And of course the On Demand Demos are great learning tools. <br /> Happy Birthday developerWorks!

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you!<div>&nbsp;</div> It is my pleasure to wish the developerWorks community the happiest of birthdays. <div>&nbsp;</div> Through the last ten years, we have enjoyed expert advice from some of the world's most innovative technical experts, built skills through the technical articles and tutorials, networked with other peers in our field of expertise through conferences, seminars, events and online events and general, we've had a great time together with a wonderful group of IT professionals and developers. And, those demos and!<div>&nbsp;</div> Party?

It makes me laugh to think about webcasts, articles, demos, and downloads donning party hats and blowing out candles -- can you imagine the din? <div>&nbsp;</div> My favorite dW places are podcasts, blogs, and tweets where it's easiest to see the personalities of the dW team shining through.<div>&nbsp;</div> My orange and pointy party hat is off to you, dW. Happy birthday!

Feliz cumpleanos, developerWorks!!!<div>&nbsp;</div> If I may say, dW has done well to constantly adjust and adapt to the ever changing IT industry and the needs/wants of the users. Who would have thought that dW would be at this point today. Its content has positively morphed to include more contributions directly from the community and allowing users to interact with each other. <div>&nbsp;</div> Personally, I have used the forums (many a time) to find answers to my problems. Also, articles have been helpful in numerous situations when I needed to attain new information or seek out a solution. As you can imagine, developerWorks has been helpful to me and my responsibilities to do my job.<div>&nbsp;</div> For these reasons, I am hoping for many more birthdays for developerWorks. In the meantime, I will continue to utilize its many great areas and content. For all of its vast rich resources, my favorite part of the site continues to be podcasts since I enjoy the personalities and variety of topics.

Happy Birthday developerWorks. It has been such a great pleasure to be part of the developerWorks team for the past 8 years. The thing that stands out for me over the years is the genuine passion I see from all people who build and deliver developerWorks day after day, year after year as well as the equally high passion from the people who live and collaborate here on developerWorks. Here's to the next 10 years. Cheers!

I am proud to say that I was there the day developerWorks opened its doors to developers worldwide. When we began, our primary goal was to deliver world-class content that promoted open standards and technologies. In my opinion it was a visionary goal that promoted the software industry as a whole as well as IBM's strategy and objectives. The growth of developerWorks over the last ten years has been breathtaking, even for those of us who watched it happen from the inside. Our mission has gone from simply educating developers to building a vibrant community that enables developers to share and interact with each other 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across the world. Yet with all that<br /> growth, developerWorks never lost the initial vision to be the premier site on the Web for timely, relevant, and helpful information for IT professionals. So Happy Birthday developerWorks! And here's my wish for many exciting milestones in the future.

I know from speaking with users and stakeholders alike, dW has without a doubt been a major player in supporting IBM products, promoting technology and driving innovation worldwide. But more than anything, I am excited about what the next decade will bring. Congrats!
