What is solidDB?
solidDB is an in-memory database from IBM's Information Management brand. It can be used as a database of record or as a front-end cache for accessing disk-storage databases like DB2.

solidDB has an SQL API and otherwise acts like a relational database. Want to cache Java objects in a grid of JVMs? Check out ObjectGrid, now part of WebSphere eXtreme Scale.
