Leverage the WCS Marketing Engine to recommend specific content when the user arrives to the page using a landing page
When a business user wants to recommend a specific content when the user arrives to the page using a landing page, its recommended to setup a dialog activity and a web activity as follows:
When the 'Wait for Event' Trigger is configured to have '*' in the event name and a specific value in the parameter name and value (eg. x=123) the activity will be trigger when any URL command has x=123 in the URL.
The combination of the Web Activity and the Dialog Activity will ensure the user is seeing the content throughout his session even though the specific parameter is not part of his URL. The Dialog Activity customer count will give marketing managers or business users a better sense of how many customers have arrived to the site using the landing page.
