This new server generation includes the S914, S922, S924 and L922 systems, run with PowerVM and have up to 4 TB of memory - twice the memory footprint as POWER8! The new POWER9 processors are:

IBM invites you to use the Power Development Cloud (PDC) for no-charge access to test your AIX and Linux applications on a new IBM POWER9 processor (IBM i access will be available shortly). To ensure you get access to one of the new servers, you need to sign up with a special promo code only available to PartnerWorld members . When you create your reservation to access a POWER9 processor, you must include one of the following “promo codes”.
