I hate to exercise.
Specifically, I hate to run.
But I make myself do it. My doctor told me it was a good idea.
Actually, upon further reflection, I don't hate to run. Once I'm out there and running, it's all fine.
It's just that getting to that point where I'm actually off the couch and actually running that I have a BIG problem with.
So I'm very excited about what I'm reading about the Wii Fit and the Wii Balance Board.
In May, Nintendo is apparently launching a new exercise product to go with its hugely successful Nintendo Wii gaming line.
With the first generation of the Wii there was some mild motion (and a lot of broken TV sets and noses), which some might consider as constituting exercise.
But this new product seems to take it to a whole other playing field, as it will include a platform that users can put in front of their TV sets that can measure a users' weight to help them through exercise routines featured in the new Wii game (including one already released in Japan called "Family Ski"!)

Having played a friends' Wii, I think this new addition to the family could be great fun...just so long as folks don't put that Wii Balance Board too terribly close to the big screen.
