Been a busy week, so no blog post yesterday.
More details soon as promised on my Blackberry Bold transition experience. It's not all good, nor all bad.
And as I Tweeted to my Facebook status yesterday, the BBold is quickly becoming my mobile everything.
But details on that when I come up for air.
In the meantime, ZDNet is reporting that Gartner's chiming in on some CIO recommendations for their 2009 New Year's resolutions.
3. Start scouting for key talent.
5. Start using social systems yourself, visibly.
6. Start taking cloud seriously.
...and my favorite:

Uh, like social software, right? See number 5.

Speaking of social software, Lotusphere is getting jiggy with it down in Orlando next week (the fun actually starts on the 18th).
I haven't been pre-briefed or anything (hint hint PR team, hook a brother up), so I can't tell you all the great stuff they'll be announcing in advance.
Anyway, kinda defeats the point, right? Get on that plane, train, or automobile and get yourself to Orlando.
But I do plan to keep an eye out and try to convey the big hitters coming out of the show.
And you know can trust mi amigo Ed Brill for much of the skinny there on the ground.
To get level set, check out the Lotusphere 2009 site.
