OK, so we know mobile is experiencing tremendous growth. But cultural and technical factors take countries on different parts of the adoption curve. How are different regions/countries adopting mobile and in what area?
Well, among the BRIC, India and China lead the way for mobile adoption. Only 10% and 14% of respondents from India and China, respectively, said they have no mobile adoption plan at all; compare these figures from those of Brazil (17%), US (20%), and Russia (23%).
Other interesting mobile adoption findings: Brazil has the highest likelihood to embrace enterprise app development while India has the highest focus on mobile entertainment. US leads the way in embracing "social" for mobile.
