Have you ever wanted to see how your customers interacted with specific content? Now you can!! This new functionality is available for Heat Maps, Comparison Analytics, and Link Analytics overlays.

After you get to the overlay, just select a sub-set of data and click report icon.  A new report opens with the overlay data for data you selected.

  1. Select metrics to display.
  2. Click Sub-Select.
  3. Select the data subset.
  4. Click on the report icon and you get a new report!

After the report displays, just click the View Sessions link in the report. Then you can replay a session or get more information about sessions.

Why are your customers spending so much time filling out that field?

If you have the Overstat add-on and you are using Form Analytics, you can drill down to look at sessions to understand what users were doing and why there was a high dwell time on a specific field. So easy!

  1. Select snapshot and Form Analytics.
  2. Select Dwell Time.
  3. For the field you want to analyze, click Menu.
  4. Select View above average sessions.

More Overstat dimensions to filter and segment data

If you have the Overstat add-on, we listened, and added a few more dimensions and dimension groups.

  • Geography dimension group contains the City dimension and the Country dimension.   If you select this dimension group, you can choose the country, and then you can pick any of the city’s.  Then you get your results.
  • Environment dimension group contains the Browser name dimension. If you select this dimension, you can select one or more browsers.

Here is an example of filtering using the Environment dimension group and selecting Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari as browsers.

How many clicks did I have on the website?

If you have been wondering how many clicks, or hovers you actually had on your website.  Now we have you covered for Overstat - Heat Maps, Comparison Overlays, and Link Analytics. For these overlays, you now get a count for each metric.

For example, in this heat map, there were 25,763 clicks that were analyzed.
