Need to know if your IBM system is covered under warranty? Use the Warranty lookup module on the IBM Support Portal to find the warranty or extended service agreement status of one or many IBM systems.
The Warranty lookup and parts lookup page lists details about the status of the system warranty. If applicable, the page displays extended warranty or service agreements. In this example, there are additional terms to the 3-year warranty for this system.
When you look up the warranty status for one system, detailed parts information is also provided.
You can look up another system by entering a new Machine Type and Serial Number into the fields at the top of the page. In this example, the system is out of warranty and does not have an extended service agreement in place.
You can also look up the warranty status of multiple systems. To look up multiple warranties, provide an input file that contains the Machine Type and Serial number for each system in a csv file.
