The IBM Electronic Support team recognizes the growing adoption of mobile devices by our customers. While not a large percentage, many clients do access the IBM Support Portal and Fix Central to research problems, find information, and plan for upgrades and fixes.
IBM Support Portal mobile
When visiting the IBM Support Portal from a mobile device, you will land on the mobile home page, which provides access to major support tasks:
Fix Central mobile
Fix Central, our website for downloading device drivers, firmware updates, patches and fixes for many IBM products, also provides a mobile-friendly interface.
You can view a list of all the downloads available for your product and view pertinent information about each fix, such as version, affected platforms, or severity. You can also e-mail a link to this page, so you or others can access the same fix for downloading from a more robust system. The main purpose of the Fix Central mobile interface is to allow you a convenient way to research and plan for needed upgrades while on the go.
