We have a variety of new support for our clients with our latest FLRT deploy.
We now lists the group PTFs that you know and love and also have links to Fix Central for easy download.
This function allows you to enter a file with a list of APARs. The file does not have to be in any special format, but it is limited to only processing the first 100 APARs it finds. Most of the AIX TL/SP 'Fix details' files on Fix Central contain more than 100 APARs, so you will need to split them up into separate files if you want to use those files.
Or, you can create a file that just has a list of APARs you are interested in pulling the full details for.
First, upload the file:
You will receive a message on the time it will take if more than 40 APARs are detected in the file:
The output is sent to the browser. View the content there or create a PDF file with your favorite PDF writer. I use cutepdf.
And that's it!
If you're looking for more information on a specific APAR, try 'pSearch'! http
Check out this example:
If you search on an APAR (IV53003 in this example) it will provide a link to the 'sibling doc' which is the information on the APAR for the same issues in other Technology Levels (TL), which can be very useful if you are moving to a new TL.
Second, it will display a link to the fileset information, which includes all levels that have been released for that fileset and which TL/SP.
And, finally, it will search for all the APAR docs that list that APAR, which may include sibling APARs or related APARs.
Please use the 'Feedback' button on FLRT and pSearch to send any issues, comments or suggestions!
