The FLRT team is pleased to announce additional design changes and improvements throughout the website to help enhance your experience. This update aims to increase the usability of our tools for the transition from beta to production release.
The FLRT navigation bar at the top has been redesigned to add quick access to IBM Support and other important Electronic Support websites.
In addition, we have also updated our front-page tool category listings to simplify navigation. This allows you to quickly find the tool that you need.
Every page header now has a navigation breadcrumb to allow quickly jumping backwards through your navigation path. In addition, we also updated all our Titles and Subtitles to better match the content of each page. You will also notice that each header and page elements are color-coded based on the tool categories listed on the front page to better differentiate the type of tool you are currently viewing.
We have enhanced all our recommendation reports for Power, PurePower and Live Partition Mobility. Now available are buttons for alternate formats as Text or XML. These formats are best used for scripting automated recommendations. You may now use the URL of any report to share the recommendations with others, or to look at the query parameters for scripting your own queries.
This new format offers a Report Summary to show an at-a-glance summary of each item you entered in the form. You may also use this summary to jump to the item’s section.
New in the revamped recommendation of each item is a status description. This will provide a brief description of your input level in relation to the updates and upgrades available. This new report format is also print-friendly and offers a responsive design to work across phones, tablets, and computers. Each section can also be minimized or maximized to customize what is displayed.
