Barry:W <br /> Yr second graph is one of the few that shows the long run history of HDD Areal Density, most start in 1970 or even 1990. In order to accurately depict it on Wikipedia I would like your permission to post it to Wikipedia.

I calculated the slope for Moore's Law on yr second graph as a CAGR of about 35% per year - Moore's (2nd) Law is doubling every 24 months or a CAGR of 41% per year. Did I mis-calculate?
