Those awfully nice chaps in the IBM North America Technical Leadership Team "Accelerate with IBM Storage" program, formerly known to one and all as "Accelerate with ATS", have put together a very interesting webinar that you may be interested in. With the 7.5.0 flavour of Spectrum Virtualize came something called HyperSwap. I have shamelessly pulled the next paragraph from Barry Whyte's blog:
"The major new feature in 7.5.0 is HyperSwap - which you can think of as a new and improved Stretched Cluster solution, allowing I/O Groups to be placed at each site, rather than nodes at each site - which means we can now run HyperSwap configurations using Storwize hardware (V5000 and V7000 only)."
Barry goes into some more detail here: Spectrum Virtualize 7.5.0 - HyperSwap - grep and more!
Anyway, the Accelerate with IBM Storage (the artists formerly known as Accelerate with ATS) blog is the place to go to see the program of technical webinars covering a variety of storage topics that are planned.
You can subscribe to that blog or join their mailing list to stay informed about upcoming technical webinars.
