RSDC - It's a wrap

MatchPoint IT in Israel, won one of the backpack/iPod combos. Merav also serves as a discussion facilitator for a developerworks forum (sadly, I'm forgetting which one). A number of dW DFs and dW staffers got together for dinner Monday night to chat about work and life. It was fun, and is one of the things I particularly enjoy about these conferences. You might call it in-person community time. The instant messaging, email, forums, and wikis all take on a little more meaning when you've had that in-person connection with folks, at least once. Merav certainly reeled in a good chunk of her 15-minutes of fame this week. She showed up twice in the conference highlight video that played at the end of today's send-off keynote. I pulled a zero in that show. Of course, I spent 90% of my time editing audio for podcasts in my hotel room, so my chances for video fame were not good. Merav looks better on camera than I do anyway.
Watch for a few more RSDC podcasts to go up in the next few days -- particularly, Buell Duncan's closing remarks, and interviews with Buell, Walker Royce, and a four-way with Martin Nally, Murray Cantor, Michael O'Connell and myself.
