TWOdW podcast tomorrow. Nathan has a new piece on the Linux zone on his app knockAge that leverages the accelerometer in certain ThinkPad models for touch sensitive control. Here's a video of it on youtube.com.
Drummers have known for centuries that striking your equipment can sometimes produce desirable results, but the quality of the result, in the case of drumming, is highly dependent upon the quality of the striker. The beauty of Nathan's app is that it appears to give even your weekend laptop wacker the potential to be an instant virtuoso without having to spend years with the equivalent of a rubber practice pad and George Stones Stick Control. If I'm wrong, maybe there's a book in it for Nathan as well -- something like Harrington's Laptop Command Wrist Excercises.
