In February 2016 IBM made available "RPT on Cloud" which uses SoftLayer public cloud to generate a load, from any of the dozens of SoftLayer Data Centers all over the world. There is a trial period, and it's pay-as-you-go (PAYGO), which means if you don't test in a given month, you don't pay anything at all.
IBM now has created a new capability - I call it "RPT on Private Cloud" but it does not have an official name yet.
With this new capability, you can use VMWare inside your own corporate network to generate potentially huge amounts of traffic against internal or external services or web sites.
Currently, the VMWare private cloud capability is available on a trial basis. See http
Update 2016-08-16 - The event actually took place on August 11, and there is a replay available at http
