At the end of last year we released version 9 of our Digital Experience, WebSphere Portal, Web Content Manager software. Among other features version 9 supports WebSphere Application Server version 9 and integration with Watson Content Hub. If you are on version 8.5 it is a very simple procedure to move to version 9 and you can even stay on WebSphere Application Server 8.5 if required.
If you are currently considering migration from a previous release like version 7 or 8.0 we recommend to consider version 9 as target to start off with the latest supported version. Note that when using the automated migration and not manual migration one would migrate to version 8.5 and then apply version 9 via the Installation Manager.
