IBM Analytics for Hadoop service is FREE and is available @ bluemix.net, here are simple steps to get started:
First login to bluemix.net, you would see "Add a service" button on the landing "dashboard" page as follows:
Click on "Add a server", it will launch catalog page, scroll down to "Big Data" section and select "IBM Analytics for Hadoop" service.
Clicking on "IBM Analytics for Hadoop" service will launch service provision page, select if service needs to be bound to an application or leave it unbound. Enter a service name of your own or leave the default one as-is (as shown in the image below).
Click "create" service. It would couple of seconds to provision the service and it will take you the service information page automatically.
You can refer to documentation links given the page, use user-id credentials inside your application (or third party application) either manually or use VCAP_SERVICES variable to automatically read it inside application.
Click launch to open "Management console".
