Published on October 18th, 2012, the tutorial that took me almost 4 months to write was published:
DB2 10.1 fundamentals certification exam 610 prep, Part 1: Planning. Today (2013, Mar 4th) it has passed the 10,000 hit mark, so, for me, it's really time to celebrate!
Part of a series of 6 documents, this tutorial was created to help people understand the fundamentals of DB2 10, being able to get certified in the product.
Now, I am really proud of authoring it. When I look back, I see how much work it required - and how hard I had to work to give it the content it needed.
For a beginner author, to accomplish such an important mission, it would have been even harder if no assistance was available.
And having English as a 2nd language, can make things even worse. I was lucky to have my work reviewed by Roger Sanders, the DB2 certification Guru. His careful and detailed revision, as well as his advice helped my text
look much better than it was before. Before Roger, other friends reviewed the English writing as well as the coherency.
Special thanks also goes to Susan Visser, who trusted me with this work and gave me all the support I needed, and Scott Hayes (for creating the DB2's Got Talent contest, making all this possible).
To all these people who helped, I am really thankful, and hope I can help you the same way sometime in the future. This work wouldn't be the same without all your help!
