I start the day planning, then move to deleting emails and then attend lots of meetings..... and then more emails... I always work in a few strong cups of coffee & some social chatting....

I enjoy the people I work with each day. Over the last 20+ years, it's become obvious that the people matter most
What inspires you in your work?
Helping people achieve RESULTS
What are you passionate about?
What tip or trick would you like to share with the class?
Make sure you focus on RESULTS, with them you get a seat at the table and can achieve great things... Concentrate on listening to others and then on helping them achieve their goals...
Tell me about the biggest problem ahead for you?
Information overload & inboxillitis. There is too much information to digest in a given day... and too many emails to read/respond to. This is a problem that our industry(many industries) face that it not getting any easier. People need to have "think time" to change/grow... it requires more discipline than ever not to fall into the multi-task and do nothing well mode that many seem to be in..... hamsters in a wheel.
How do you define success?
Enjoying each day.... you don't get any back... so don't waste them.
In your spare time, if you have any, what hobbies or activities interest you?
I enjoy time with my family, dogs (we have three), as well as powerlifting, mountain biking and reading
If you were stuck on a technology deprived island, what single technology could you not live without?
What is on your night stand with regard to reading?
The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Dinosaur Training
What has been your biggest surprise you have witnessed in the technology industry?
The explosion of mobile technology and hand held devices... my first cell phone was in a back pack...
Is there any technology that you think should get more respect and adoption but does not?
The office phone... you can actually have a synchronized discussion that includes voice tone and expression and achieves results quickly... I hope it catches on with people....
What is your favorite technology that fizzled or failed to live up to the hype?
The office phone
How do you grow your technical skills?
Roll up my sleeves and jump in and attempt to "do something"
How do you prefer to find answers to your questions?
How are you using social networking today?
Facebook, YouTube and some online communities and some blogs.
How could you see yourself using it in 5 years?
Not sure, I am not liking all the marketing that has entered the space... I may be out of it in 5 years... at least from the stuff popular today..
Any other fun tidbits of information about you, your job, or RCS that you'd like to share?
Nope, I am not that exciting/fun... Thank you for taking the time to interview me
