IBM Rational ClearCase UCM users sometimes come across situations where you may want to cancel the rebase operation.
While trying to cancel the rebase operation it might either hang or fail. Perhaps, after trying quite a few steps to resolve unsuccessfully, IBM Rational Client Support is contacted for assistance.
Here are a few basic cleartool commands that help us in Support (as well as application users like you) to take stock of the situation and analyze the problem. As always, the examples used here and the actual behaviour in your environment may vary.
