Rational RFE Community. A segment of the Telelogic product lines became available on February 1st, while a segment of the AppScan Source product lines became available in early January.
The Rational RFE Community enables you to submit your own idea for a new "request for enhancement" (RFE). Our development teams will review your request and provide status updates throughout its life cycle. You can even search, view, comment, and watch other RFEs based on the products you are interested in, allowing for deeper collaboration with our development teams and other product users. The RFE community also provides tools so you can keep track of the RFEs you've submitted, voted for, or simply are interested in!
Get involved today and help directly drive improvement to the products you use!
On January 6th, 2010, all Rational Support web traffic will be redirected into the IBM Support Portal!
The "Click to Try" banner on all our support pages will be updated weekly as we count down to January 6th.

Are you following us on your preferred social channel? Did you know we've recently launched a GooglePlus and Tumblr blog? While no channel is meant to be a catch-all, we want to get you the information you want and need in the channels you are most comfortable with. Do you find twitter is the best place to find our content and engage with us? Follow us there! Twitter not your style but rather you prefer Facebook? We're posting there as well to help you find the right information at the right time! Check out our news document linked below to see all the channels on which we're active and follow us on the ones you're most comfortable with:
Without losing sight of the work we do in the newer social channels, we also want to ensure you don't forget about some of the most effective community based channels out there surrounding Rational products and topics. Finding answers from previous questions, or even direct community based help with your own specific question can be a great way to leverage the collective wisdom, but even better is when you can join in the conversations and share your own expertise to help others.
While the above are great resources for truly social support with clients and IBMers alike all participating, we also recognize that this isn't a complete list of all the forums or social channels out there. Is your favourite one missing? Let us know in the comments and we'll add it to the list! Or, do you have some other favourite method for finding answers or sharing answers which we haven't touched on? We'd love to hear about those as well!
Once again, I have been freed from the tyranny of my inbox and calendar, and it is GOOD.
So, in spite of several hundred warnings to NOT DO IT, I initiated the steps to change my name at work. Lulling me into a false sense of security, I actually received mail in my new name for a couple of days before it all fell over and went boom.
Since Wednesday night of last week, I have not had access to my email or Lotus Notes calendar. Of course, I didn’t CARE on Thursday and Friday, because I wasn’t at work.
Then came Monday.
Yesterday morning, I panicked. Just a little. I went into the office, having no idea where I was supposed to be all day, nor what I was supposed to be doing. I missed meetings, I’m sure. And then there are those hundreds of emails piling up unread in my inbox.
Today, I find it liberating.
I’m freed from the tyranny of the daily grind, and forced to find other ways to share knowledge and communicate.
I’m picking up the phone (what a novel concept!). I’m getting up and walking down the hall to ask my question that way. I’m using our internal chat client.
Instead of living in my inbox, where I am interrupt-driven by whatever arrives there next, I’m living in our team wiki… making sure our project work is available to others, even if I can’t flood their inbox.
I’m more focused, less distracted, and my knowledge-sharing practices are improving.I think Luis might be on to something here.
