We're just over halfway into 2011 now, and thought it'd be fun to look back and see what content on Notes from Rational Support proves to be the most popular. So here you go, the top seven posts that you told us were hot bits of information by virtue of your click-throughs:
Did we miss one of your favourite posts you think should have been highlighted more? Have an idea for content you'd like to see? Let us know in the comments and we'll work even harder to provide exactly what you want to see here, and of course less of what you don't

TheOnDemandDemoGuy provides a short introduction on using IBM®Rational® Team Concert for complex systems and software development. It takes you through a scenario that uses several IBM Rational products to show how process controls can be enacted through rule based process guidance. The demo starts in the Rational DOORS requirements database where integration is used with Rational Team Concert to create an implementation request for some work to be performed in an IBM Rational Rhapsody model. It then steps through a work flow using the features of Rational Team Concert to manage both the changes to the model and a formal review process enacted on the project.

If you're an administrator for a Rational Synergy/Change installation that uses Informix and you haven't seen this technote: "Increase IBM Informix Dynamic Server 11.5 STACKSIZE parameter to prevent Informix crashes", then we STRONGLY suggest that you give it a read and implement the setting change it suggests.
Under certain circumstances, the default STACKSIZE for the Informix server is too small and can possibly lead to a stack overflow condition, which can bring the server offline. While the server can usually be brought back online without incident, in some cases it cannot and the server needs to be re-created from backups.
The tech note above suggests increasing STACKSIZE and restarting the Informix server to pro-actively prevent the stack overflow issue. If you're an admin for Rational Synergy or Rational Change, and use Informix as your back-end database, we highly encourage you to implement the changes addressed in this technote.
