You may encounter with this issue during starting a node. Possible cause of this error is IP address of node is changed without leaving the old one. If old one is allready configured, you can change IP address with mmchnode command using proper parameters. This entry is about "IP address of node is changed without leaving the old one". Because node and cluster can't interact, so mmchnode is not useable.
# mmstartup -N node_name
mmremote: 6027-1271 Unexpected error from getLocalNodeData: Missing /var/mmfs/gen/mmfsNodeData. Return code: 1
mmgetstate: 6027-1639 Command failed. Examine previous error messages to determine cause.
Go to master server and search node's name at /var/mmfs/mmsdrfs file. You should find a line something like that(AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD is old IP)
Write down old IP address and replace new IP with old one at this line.Copy new version of line and go to problem node, create file /var/mmfs/gen/mmfsNodeData, paste line into it.
Go to /var/mmfs directory and search old IP.
# grep -R "AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD" *
Replace old IP address with new one at all files.
Finally, restart node.
