A new micro broker version is bundled with Lotus Expeditor 6.2.2. Some of the enhancements are:
- With WebSphere MQ providing a feature for auto-reconnect, micro broker bridge to MQ is now updated to use this. If the micro broker is connecting to WebSphere MQ 7.0.1 Server and above, this feature can be used. Micro broker bridge to MQ uses the WebSphere MQ JMS Client feature to connect to WebSphere MQ Server. Hence reconnects can now handled by the WebSphere MQ JMS client itself providing greater robustness to client-server connectivity issues. Also if the server side is using WebSphere MQ High Availability, this feature will be utilized at the client side to fallback to a Standby MQ queue manager. You can read more about the auto-reconnect feature here.
- Improved logging and tracing with adoption of JSR47 for micro broker's logging and tracing functionality. This would ensure that Lotus Expeditor's logs will capture the micro broker log events also making it more simplified for the user
