The MQ light team are excited to announce that we have just released our second Beta. The headline items in this release are support for install onto a Mac and a much improved developer UI.
The Mac support has been a focus item for us because, well, this picture sums it up quite well I think:
Of course we continue to support Windows and Linux in addition to the Mac support we just added.
Our developer-centric UI runs in a web browser and is designed to help with the task of developing and debugging applications that use messaging rather than to administer messaging. In this beta we have added enhancements to it including the ability to filter the messages you see by sender, receiver, topic and more. Just click on the item you want to filter by. We think this makes it easier to develop apps that use messaging, but what do you think? Please take a look and let us know, either on our feedback forum or just tweet us - @mqlight
In addition to the headline items, we have fixed a number of bugs and stability issues. We have improved support for AMQP 1.0 working better with the vanilla Apache Qpid Proton 0.7 Clients in addition to our own Node.js client .
