About three weeks ago I installed Ubuntu on my wife's laptop. All she really uses it for is email and the web and has a very low tollerance for technology that doesn't "Just work". If a new thing takes 30-seconds longer to figure out than the old thing, the old thing was better. Since she'd been using Windows for years and has such a low-tollerance for change when it comes to technology, I was skeptical about the move to Ubuntu but wanted to at least give it a shot.
Well.. I'm happy to report that after only three weeks my wife uttered four words that made me smile. They were: "I hate Windows now".
