To all Rational software and systems developers: You’re invited to our Jazz “Plan Jam”
It’s time to Jam!
Today, the IBM Rational team launched our first Jazz “Plan Jam". It’s a one-week program in which we hope to gather your expert opinions to help us plan for the next release of the Jazz products. From May 30 to June 6, the Jazz Plan Jam, you will have an opportunity to tell us what you like, dislike, need, and don't need. Pass the word to your colleagues -- the more input we receive the better we can make the products!
We hope to engage you, to understand what is most important to you, our most important stakeholders.
What to expect from the Plan Jam
The scope of the jam covers Rational’s ALM foundational capabilities of requirements management, design management, change and configuration management and quality management across the IT, enterprise modernization, and systems domains. It includes waves such as mobile application development, continuous delivery, regulatory compliance, and supply chains. And there's a section where we hope to gather feedback on lifecycle scenarios.
This is also a chance for you to engage developers and other users and get even more actively involved with Jazz.net. We have about 30 moderators signed up the Jazz Plan Jam from across the Rational team, including product development.
Share your ideas
The Plan Jam is open to clients, potential clients, partners, and IBMers to submit, vote for, or comment on ideas. Please be aware that all information is public, including your identity. Everyone in the jam can see what you comment and vote for. It is the spirit of transparency that we embrace as a team that builds trust between us. Anyone can participate by going to jazz.net/jam. Here you will see a blog by Carolyn Pampino describing how the jam works, and she provides a link to the jam (htt
We seek world-wide participation in the jam... and ask for your help in getting the word out to your team members and other developers you may know.
The Jam is designed to overlap with the Innovate conference June 4-7 in Orlando, Florida, and the clock is ticking. Be sure to join the conversation today!
