IBM BlueMix @ Speed
I’ve been spending a lot of time in the developer Pit Stop area of the EXPO hall at IBM Innovate. You may not have had a chance to stop by—but with open speed labs, a race track, drone helicopters, and occulus rift, it’s definitely an area that shouldn’t be missed!
If you want to get your hands dirty and try out some of the new developer tools you’ve been hearing so much about, the Bluemix@SPEED Labs in the Pitstop area is a must-see. You can find us giving demo’s and developing and deploying real apps and you can actually try out BlueMix, DevOps Services, Watson, MQA, and RapidApps.
If you were in yesterday's DevOps Keynote, you saw Sal Vella, Scott Rich, and Dan Berg demo a mobile app scenario that showed the full value of our integrated mobile DevOps solution using Mobile Quality Assurance, DevOps Services, and Bluemix. At the pitstop labs, you can try out MQA for yourself in a simple self-service lab that shows you how easy it is to get detailed information from a user about bugs, crashes, and other feedback during pre-production and live-test scenarios, and seamlessly resolve those issues with DevOps Services and Bluemix.
One of the main themes running through the morning sessions today was that software drives innovation, and software developers—as the builders of software—have tremendous power to impact business success. Great news for developers! But what about people on your team that aren’t developers? How can you empower them to build applications that will help your business? Check out our RapidApps beta service on Bluemix, that helps business developers create applications.
The BlueMix@SPEED labs are open whenever the EXPO hall is open, so be sure to come by the Pit Stop and try out some of the technology you’ve heard so much about at Innovate. As always, we’ll be around to help!
If you aren't attending Innovate, you can still try out the Bluemix@SPEED Labs from home! Just navigate to this page <htt
