Innovate 2012 Daily Highlights – Day Two
Welcome back to day two of Innovate 2012!
Next Gina, the NOW and future Gina Poole, kicked-off Monday’s general session followed by an upbeat performance by Project DJ Slam, kicking the keynote into high gear. Sarah Backhouse, founder of Future360 and Innovate host, joined Gina on stage to help keep the IBM crowd on their toes by asking just the right questions.
Monday’s session really set the stage for not only showing what’s next in software and systems innovation, but how to get there, starting now!
Dr. Kristof Kloeckner, IBM Rational General Manager, took stage and shared his insights into how software innovation and business innovation are becoming synonymous. The truth is that our world is changing dramatically – providing huge opportunities and risks. What does that mean to your business? It means you are now, more than ever, forced to move faster in the midst of complexity. In short, “accelerate delivery or become irrelevant” says Dr. Kloeckner.
