Cloud enabled technologies and DevOps at the IBM Pulse Conference
Cloud enabled technologies and DevOps is a major growth initiative for IBM, so we’re excited to announce that Pulse 2014 will feature a Cloud Enabled Technologies and DevOps stream as part of the Optimizing IT & Service Management Track. These sessions will showcase how enterprises can drive rapid business innovation leveraging private and hybrid models. Points of emphasis will be private cloud implementations, Software Defined Environments, DevOps across the cloud and the value of Open Standards initiatives such as Open Stack and TOSCA.
The IBM SmartCloud Family and PureSystems will be front and center. Dozens of clients will share how their implementation of products such as SmartCloud Orchestrator, SmartCloud Control Desk, SmartCloud Entry, Storage and System z provide enhanced automation, virtualization and time-to-market within their cloud environments.
TSYS, a service provider to more than half of the top 20 international banks, will be at Pulse to discuss how IBM’s SmartCloud-based solution orchestrated delivery and continued lifecycle management of standardized Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) patterns to development teams spread around the globe.
WellPoint, a health benefit company with nearly 68 million people served through its affiliated health plans and subsidiaries will speak to the partnership between IBM and Wellpoint focused on refining an integrated process solution for Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management within its Service Management business. With the assistance of SmartCloud Control Desk, Wellpoint had the ability to leverage out-of-the-box process integration and tailor it to implement process solutions beneficial to business.
The conference is focused on showing attendees the latest and greatest Cloud technology. The Cloud Enabled Technologies and DevOps stream will emphasize the best practices of Software Defined Networking implementations, DevOps principles and the capabilities of Open Standards. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage thought leaders, technical experts, IT executives and peers with similar obstacles and experiences.
I look forward to seeing to you at Pulse! The Optimizing IT & Service Management Track will have more information in the coming weeks on content, speakers and clients that will keynote the track.
