What do participants say about Innovate 2013? Find out from the Roving Reporter program
One of the beauties of social media is that it now provides us with a vehicle to share more around conferences – an augmented layer of interaction, if you will, that allows us to participate in a way unimaginable just a few years back. Whether you are at the conference or not, you can meet experts in your field, see what’s top of their mind and even interact and ask questions.
And of course you shouldn’t forget video which is great for capturing the experience of an event. At this year’s Innovate you’ll find a number of crews on the ground. You can find much of the content flowing into the Livestream channel.
So for this my second Innovate, I’m fortunate to be a part of one of these teams: the Roving Reporter program.
An intrepid band of editors, video experts and social media folk will be on the floor gathering interviews from thought leaders, subject matter experts and technical gurus who will grace this year’s Innovate 2013, dubbed ‘The IBM Technical Summit’.
So let me introduce you to our team of Roving Reporters:
What kind of footage do we produce? Here is one of the most popular pieces from last year where experts discuss the IBM Worklight product:
This year, the footage we produce will be appearing at the following locations:
The IBM Champion Blog
The Partner Ecosystem Blog
The IBM Mobile Development Blog
The IBM Innovate Blog
So, if you see us in the corridors, and figure that you are ready for a slice of your 15 minutes and have some hot topic to share, flag us down for a chance to be featured in a video shown around (and long after) the event. Or go ahead and leave a comment below or reach out to me on Twitter @cagedether.
