Dave Powell is a computer science professor at Elon University. He teaches the entire gamut of software programming (including enterprise programming, OOP, Java) and has found the IBM Academic Skills Cloud a unique offering for himself and his students.
He finds the environment particularly useful for the teaching of enterprise programming where students have access to the backend infrastructure they will encounter once they start work, which is available on-demand without the need for configuration.
