Hi, my name is Leif Pedersen, and one of my responsibilities is helping customers learn about and use Optim products, including Optim Query Workload Tuner for DB2 for z/OS. This week I received many
emails about how-to install the server side of Optim Query Workload
Tuner for DB2 for z/OS. I have collected some links with some of the information that
is needed to be able to set up Optim Query Worload
Tuner on DB2 for z/OS on the server. All of these links are within the Optim Query Tuner Information Center.
Installation and configuration roadmaps
Another question I get a lot is "if I do not want to use the GUI to do the installation of the server site, where can I locate the installation jobs that are used for setting up on the server?"
A good starting point for finding information about how-to configure DB2 for z/OS (or even LUW) or query tuning can be found here in the Optim Query Tuner Information Center.
The detailed information for setting up from the server side by using JCL batch jobs can be found from this topic.
I hope the above links can help you find answers to your questions about installing and configuring Optim Query Workload Tuner.
