Joe Clabby: President of Clabby Analytics – Panelist
Joe leads Clabby Analytics, a technology research and analysis firm. Unlike many analyst firms, they advocate for the use of particular products and architectures, and encourage readers to find and compare opinions that differ from theirs. Joe has over 35 years of experience in the IT industry in positions of sales, marketing and research and analysis. He specializes in systems/storage design, infrastructure and integrated service management. With this background, he provides guidance on a variety of topics including virtualization, provisioning, cloud computing and application design (workload analysis to determine which applications should run on which types of servers).
Adrian Bowles: IT industry thought-leader – Panelist
Adrian Bowles is the founder of STORM Insights, inc. a market analytics firm providing research and advisory services for buyers, sellers, and investors in emerging technology markets including cognitive computing, big data/analytics, cloud computing and social business tools. Adrian has over 25 years of experience at the intersection of advanced technology and business strategy as an academic, practitioner, consultant and industry analyst. Previously, Adrian founded SIG411, a sustainable technology research firm; the Governance, Risk Management & Compliance Roundtable for the Object Management Group; the IT Compliance Institute with 101 Communications; and Atelier Research.
Anna Topol: IBM Distinguished Engineer; Chief Technology Officer for Distribution Sector, IBM Systems and Technology Group – Panelist
Anna works in the IBM Systems and Technology Group (STG) Industry CTO Leadership Team and is responsible for the energy and utilities industry. She has years of experience in both technical and business development positions. She successfully led a number of research and development programs for which she received the Research Outstanding Technical Contribution Achievement Award. Anna holds a PhD degree in Physics from SUNY Albany Collage of Nanoscale Science and Engineering has more than 45 publications, including encyclopedia and books chapters, and 23 issued patents.
