Did you know: Building a strong foundation for your organization requires more than just leading technology? Our recently released Institute for Business Value: “Continuing the IT infrastructure conversation,” examines just that. The study reveals that IT must also collaborate with other parts of the business in order to successfully capitalize on IT trends and turn them into competitive advantage. According to the study:
- 70 percent of companies recognize that IT infrastructure plays an important role in enabling competitive advantage or optimizing revenue and profit, but
- Only 22 percent have a well-defined enterprise IT infra¬structure strategy, and
- Only 23 percent are successful at collect¬ing, analyzing and documenting performance measures
From the study, one point that stands out – IT infrastructure matters and it matters more than ever. Increasingly, organizations across the world are under immense pressure and looking for directions to help them make the right decisions about their IT infrastructures in order to adapt to the ever-changing market place.
