Each year, we select a few IBM Champions to become Lifetime IBM Champions. If you already think of the IBM Champions as the top 1% of IBM's external advocates and community members, you can think of these Lifetime Champions as the best of the best of the best. Over multiple years, these Champions have consistently not only excelled at the advocacy that makes them Champions, but they have also been invaluable to other Champions by mentoring and supporting them and by helping the larger program to flourish. Our goal is that when we announce a Lifetime Champion that everyone says, "oh, yeah, that makes sense." These IBM Champions stand above their peers for service to the community as they lead by example, are passionate about sharing knowledge, and provide constructive feedback to IBM.
2019 Lifetime IBM Champions
These Champions have supported the program, other Champions, and the technical community over multiple years. They were selected based on input from current IBM Champions, the other Lifetime IBM Champions, IBMers, the community, and the program team.
While each of the Champions below contributes in more than one way, you can read about a few of their primary successes below. Many of their other contributions are less visible - supporting the program and IBM behind the scenes.
These new IBM Lifetime Champions will now be automatically returned into the program each year. They join the other Lifetime IBM Champions from previous years: Gabriella Davis, Theo Heselmans, Julian Robichaux, Klaas Brant, Alex Ivanov, Tiago Moura, Roberto Mazzoni, Paul Withers, and Pete Massiello.
Congratulations again to the new Lifetime IBM Champions! Take advantage of having these amazing folks in the program and get to know them better!
