We've gotten a lot of great nominations this cycle for IBM Champions and we are so excited to read them and select next year's Champions. But before we do that... do we know YOUR story? You can read and hear about the value of the program from a whole slew of our great Champions, but in the last year, I've learned this:
Does that sound a little hokey? I don't mean it to; it's really the truth. I've had a great time this year meeting Champions from all over the world, hearing their stories, and learning what they're doing with IBM technology for their customers and ours. I want to spend next year meeting twice as many Champions and extending the value of the program into new areas of IBM and new countries and areas around the world.
Your next steps
So, take a minute and meet some of our IBM Champions (see below).
And then nominate. Yourself, someone else, a couple of someone elses...
I ask every IBMer to nominate the external advocate they'd most miss working with.
I challenge every IBM Champion to nominate someone - if anyone knows what it means to be an IBM Champion, it's all of you.
I remind every IBM Champion (with the exception of our brand new IBM Champions for Cloud selected in June of this year) that you must re-nominate yourself each year.
I suggest that everyone to share this message with someone else and with your social networks so we get the best reach for your stories.
More on the Champions
Nominations are open in IBM Analytics, IBM Cloud (including Middleware), IBM Collaboration Solutions, and IBM Power through November 14. Don't delay!
What happens after the nomination?
After we close nominations on November 14, a team of IBMers will assess EVERY nomination. We will do this based on the content contained in your nomination(s). We will check out your social accounts, we'll contact your listed IBM reference (the person at IBM who can confirm your contributions, or knows about your contributions). Each area selects its own nominees via a selection committee and in consultation with leadership.
