So after playing with Node-RED to create my Motion Activated camera I found that I needed a way to poll my Arduino on a more regular interval than that provided by the "Inject" node. After reviewing the "Pause" node created by Ben Hardill (details HERE) I thought I might be able to create something by feeding my flow back into the "Pause" node.
Based on this I started experimenting. Firstly I tweaked Ben's code to have the specified interval represent milliseconds rather than seconds. After that I created the following flow as a test to see if my thinking was sound.
With this all in place I tested the flow and it looks to be working a treat. Just now I've not wired this into my motion activated camera, that's a job for tomorrow (or maybe later this week).
