So I've figured out part of the problem, the perspective loads just fine when it is in the same plug in as the core application, but fails to find the classes when it is in a separate plug in. So the primary culprit is the Eclipse Classloader (again!). On the plus side, I can continue development (screen shots soon!) in a single plug in, but that is not how I anticipate this application to operate. So I still need tips on how to get classes in one plug in to recognize those in another at runtime. My next task is now to add Hibernate to the mix (I'm using MySQL as the back end) and extend the Inspector view for time sheets.
