What is IBM Smarter Support?

Smarter Support is a cross IBM Information and Analytics Group (IAG) initiative to market a single unified vision of IBM’s commitment to Software Technical Support and Software Subscription. Smarter Support delivers value to clients by partnering to drive positive business outcomes by ensuring business continuity, reducing risk, uncovering savings, and improving processes.

 

                                                                                               

IBM Smarter Support @ Insight 2014

During the Insight 2014 (formerly IOD) conference, attendees will be able to visit the IBM Smarter Support zone.

 

We want our clients and partners to do the following:

  • Visit the IBM Smarter Support Zone while at Insight 2014 and do the following
    • Experience the most current version of IAG products via self-paced, hands on product demo workshops (created by members of Smarter Support)
    • Speak one on one with technical support analysts from across IAG
    • Learn more about Smarter Support process and tools
    • Engage with S&S experts to have discussions about their S&S renewal
    • Sign up for all applicable Smarter Support social media, including BA, ECM and IM Twitter accounts, external newsletters etc
  • Follow Smarter Support on Twitter and Tumblr and amplify the Smarter Support message while at the conference using social media and the #ibm #smartersupport hash tag
  • Act on the deal they have on the table with IBM
  • Identify one initiative or implementation that can benefit right now from the solutions, capabilities or services they’ve learned more about at the IBM Smarter Support Zone
  • Recommend the conference to colleagues and come back to it themselves next year

 

We want our clients and partners to feel:

  • positive about the time they spent in the Smarter Support Zone.
  • successful because with IBM Smarter Support, they can deliver results in their day to day role when using IBM Software.
  • empowered because they can now make a difference within their organization  – the solutions and capabilities exist right now to enable them to drive change.
  • excited about what IBM and Smarter Support have to offer.
  • smarter because they have learned something new - training on a solution they already have, a new best practice or tip/technique, insight into a new solution, understanding current business issues/trends or valuable knowledge on optimizing their business.
