IBM Support Easy OnBoarding (ISEO) Tool - released Dec 17th to Select ECM Clients!

Beta Release

This is a fun, engaging, educational tool that assists our clients to sign up for 5 basic client self-assist tools/services: 

  • Obtain an IBM ID
  • Sign up for My Notifications & Lifecycle subscriptions
  • Access the IBM Support Portal (access Social Media Channels regarding your IBM products),
  • Register for Service Request (SR)
  • Register for Passport Advantage (PA) 

I have added a tutorial to explain the usage of the tool:  ISEO tutorial on IBM Media Center.

This is the first IBM Support tool to consolidate all five support client self-assist services under one tool. In addition, our client care team will help facilitate the signup process for SR and PA. CATHY, our Client Agent to Help You, walks you through the sign-up steps.  Earn tokens for every step you complete and play the game at the end!  We have released only to ECM clients during Phase 1.  Phase 2 has already begun on creating a mobile version of the application. General release to all IBM clients will take place in Q1 2016.

Current Limitations - We are currently working on a few features:

  • Email server issue being resolved
    • SR routing of email to Client care team  - Completed!
      • Note:  Requests are now being processed to retrieve client ICNs so they can register with SR!
    • PA routing of email to Client care team - Completed!
      • Note:  Requests are now being processed to retrieve client ICN/Site Numbers so they can register with PAO!
    • Feedback routing of email - Sends your feedback to iseo@us.ibm.com - Completed!
  • Adding feature to do a lBM Customer Number (ICN) lookup  - In Progress
  • Removing Quiz and Animation - In Progress
  • Changing backend DB and migrating data - Completed
  • Updating PA Videos - In Progress
  • Formal ALL IBM Client Announcement  - In Progress
