IBM and SAP SE jointly worked on an extensive project to demonstrate IBM z Systems performance and scalability with SAP Insurance, and just recently finished this project.
The study focused on the Policy Management of up to 4M contracts for three popular insurance types: Property & Casualty, Life, and Automobile.
The tests and findings are documented in a paper: Leveraging IBM z Systems Scalability for SAP Insurance Policy Management.
