Andy "Loco Lobo" Wolfe of Team Phoenix took a brief respite from his hectic workday to contribute to the blog.
Well, we began the week by telling our mentors, "Things are going really well for Phoenix." Now that it's the end of the week, we can legitimately justify that statement. Code is flowing from our fingertips like mineral water out of a Canadian spring. A business contact actually said, "Wow, this is cool. People will really use this!" In other news, I (Andy) successfully completed the Saltine Challenge (eating 6 Saltines in 60 seconds without water), witnessed by about a dozen stupefied interns. This initiative was closely linked to the Extreme Blue agenda in that it boosted intern morale. My fellow teammate Jedd expressed serious reservations when asked about my chances for success in the saltine arena. Angela and Ravi were quite concerned because it had been previously determined that the fate of the Phoenix project inextricably intertwined with that of my Saltine mission. Luckily, with a few seconds to go, I lifted my head from over the cubicle wastebin, opened my sparsely Saltine-crumb-sprinkled mouth, and let out a cry of unfettered triumph. The roar from the fans, er... interns was deafening. Until next week.
